Buenos Aires city

Buenos Aires is your place in the world if you like going out and enjoy every night like the last one. Bars, pubs and discos everywhere at every time.

Buenos Aires is the biggest city in Argentina,  and one of the most cosmopolitan in the world, being easy to see it in its architecture and in the innumerable cultural activities which the city offer for free.
To speak about Buenos Aires we must clarify something, each neighborhood has its distinctive stamp.

The civic and historical center area (microcentro or Downtown), conceives thousands of details and secrets of Buenos Aires. AVENIDA DE MAYO (May Avenue) shows buildings of French, Spaniard, Italian, Belgian, and American architecture all inserted between them.  On one of the axes is located PLAZA DE MAYO, where you can find CASA ROSADA (the Government House), BUENOS AIRES CATHEDRAL, and the CABILDO (first Government House until 1852). Walking over this avenue to the other axe, the NATIONAL CONGRESS BUILDING, we’ll cross over a lot of attractive points like FLORIDA (famous pedestrian street), CAFÉ TORTONI (open from 1858), AVENIDA 9 DE JULIO, one of the widest in the all world where the OBELISCO (OBELISK) is located, in the intersection of this avenue with AVENIDA CORRIENTES.

We’ll find SAN TELMO’s neighborhood of colonial architecture and TANGO. What can we visit? The SAN TELMO ANTIQUES MARKET on Sundays is awesome, the SAN TELMO MARKET (fresh fruits & vegetables) one of the first in town. Its narrow and cobbles streets are a whole invitation to the colonial and bohemian past of the city.

You can’t say you have been in Buenos Aires if you don’t go to LA BOCA, neighborhood where hundreds of immigrants gave this area its color and fame. CAMINITO is the living witness of all this history. Just 300 meters from CAMINITO is located the CLUB ATLETICO BOCA JUNIORS stadium, LA BOMBONERA. You should go to a game and see the passion of Argentines feel for football.

Crossing the city to the North side is RECOLETA, famous neighborhood where you can find RECOLETA CEMENTERY. You can see the EVITA’s (Eva Peron) GRAVE. The HARD ROCK cafe & the BELLS ART MUSEUM are also located around this area. It’s easy to get here from our HOSTEL, could be walking (30 minutes) or Bus (10 minutes).

More north is located PALERMO, the biggest neighborhood of Buenos Aires which is divided in PALERMO VIEJO O SOHO, PALERMO HOLLYWOOD, ALTO PALERMO Y PALERMO CHICO. Here we have a lot of green areas like 3 DE FEBRERO PARK, JAPANESE GARDEN, BOTANIC GARDEN, THE ZOO, AND THE PLANETARIUM.

We can’t forget to visit PUERTO MADERO, gastronomic center by excellence, and DELTA DEL TIGRE a beautiful place crossed by rivers, islands and exuberant nature. You can get here by train from RETIRO Train Station.
Come and enjoy Buenos Aires, discover it with us. WE ARE THE BEST SHIT EVER!!!
